Living a Magickal Life

So, this page is going to be a running commentary of this, that and the other thing… Just things that I’ve found that help me remember to live a magickal life, and how to do that every day.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*”If that which you seek, you find not within… you shall never find it without. ” (excerpt from Charge of the Goddess)
 *The Goddess is in me, as I am in her.  Don’t forget that she is everywhere you go, in everything you do, and everything you say.  How do you want people to see your Goddess?  Act accordingly.
*Nature is bi-lingual.  It speaks “Love” and it speaks “Sacrifice”.  Remember that for everything good in life, work is required.  Something  must be given up to gain something else.  Pick your priorities carefully.
 *Respect is earned.  Earn it everyday by living honestly and respectfully.  Trust, love, honesty, integrity, respect ~ these are the keys to working with people outside your own skin.
 *Learn to love yourself, and you can love anyone and everyone.  You are only one wheel in the machine, but if you don’t do your part, the whole machine screeches to a halt.
* Take the time to notice the world around you.  It’s the only one we have, so pay attention.  See what’s right, what works.  See what’s wrong, and think about ways to make it better.  Then do them.  Don’t sit on the sidelines, expecting the World to give you a handout.  You have to earn it.  All of it.
*The God and Goddess don’t really care what physical objects you bring with you into ritual.  What they care about is what you carry in your heart.  Check your baggage at the gate.
*When you have joy, the Goddess is there.  When you have pain, the Goddess is there.  Do you have your eyes open, your heart open, to see her?  To know her, you have to accept that she is YOU.  And you need to honor that you are SACRED.
*You are the only person responsible for your emotions.  Don’t wait for someone else to “make” you happy.  That’s your job.
*You have to work for change, or the change won’t work.
*The only actions you’re responsible for are your own. Take the credit – and the blame, when necessary.
*Move through your days as though someone you love is watching your every step.  Who do you want them to see?
