Directions and Disclaimers

For all of you that actually read from my blog page ~  wow… thanks!  That was unexpected and greatly appreciated.  I do this to share, I appreciate the feedback, and I’ll try to reply in a timely manner.

The directions are simply this:  If you enjoy a post, smile.  That’s it.  I’m not here to make a political statement, or to change the worldview of anything.  All I do here is share bits and bobs that pop out of my head.  If you like them, great.  If you don’t… there’s nothing I can do about it.  I may be a catalyst, but you’re responsible for your own feelings and reactions.

And now for the disclaimers,

Anything I post, I wrote.  If I’ve copied and pasted from somewhere, I’ll say so, and try to give credit to the person I got it from.  I don’t know how to work all the bells and whistles on this pony-cart, nor do I pretend to care about finding out about all the technical whoo-hahs, so bear with me, please!

Any pictures I post, well, some are mine, some are swiped from around the web.  I don’t normally post where I find the pictures, because if I find them, and I can save them, I can use them.  They’re left as “free to use”, without the copyright thingamabob on them.  I don’t use them for profit, only to make a point, so I’m not taking food out of anybody’s mouth.  If the picture belongs to you, and you don’t want me to use it, let me know, and I’ll remove it, but then you should have a “watermark” or “copyright” on them, to prevent use by unauthorized persons.

*shrug*  Nuff said.

  1. Unable to subscribe to your blog for some reason. Having similar issues on my blog too. Anyway, looks interesting so I will make a point of dropping by again sometime. Looks like I may be in familiar company here. :):)

    • Replies to the blog have to be approved the first time someone new posts, that’s why it didn’t show up right away.

Thank you for stopping by, and be welcome anytime!

  3. I was trying to find where the phase “Tizzy Lizzy” came from……My Mom use to call my daughter that, she lived to be 96 and now I find myself calling my 4 yr old grand-daughter the same. Hence I found your Blog! Very impressed with your writing…..

  4. Hi,

I’m Aria, I have a pagan blog and I am trying to compile a list of current pagan blogs for everyone’s networking convenience, after I discovered that so many of the blogs on the Pagan Blogger’s Network were abandoned. I have added your blog to the list. Just thought you might like to know. 🙂 If for some reason you want it removed, I will do so.

  5. I was born and raised in Drake, ND. I enjoyed your article about Dr. Hordinsky. I was friends with Jerry and went to school with him one year before he went off to military school. He was a lot like his Dad with the photographic memory and the way above average intelligence. I am writing a book also, and would like to use your article about Dr. Hordinsky in it. My book will be titled, “This dummy pulls his own strings” and I have a chapter on “My hometown”. I would be glad to credit you and include your name in the article if you give your permission to use it. However, I don’t know your name and if you wish to keep it that way, I could credit Brea’s Air Archive, if you choose to allow me to use it. Dwight Knuth

    • Dwight,
I would be glad to let you use this post in your book. I got a lot of my information from the Dr. Hordinsky cook book, as well as from Doc himself, and Irene.
You can contact me at breaaire9@gmail.com, and I’ll give you my real name. I don’t use it here for privacy purposes, mostly for my kids.

My folks still live in Drake. My mom used to work with Doc at the clinic, doing secretarial/a little of everything. She also still helps Irene and Walter a lot with things that they are not able to handle on their own (getting to Dr. appointments, going shopping outside of town, etc.)

Thanks for visiting, and for the very nice words!
