H is For…

Little Buddha, today is a beautiful, sunny day… the perfect day for you to make your debut!

I know, I know, you want more words!  Don’t worry, my Little Buddha, Gramma will teach you all the words, even if you decide to come today!

H – is for Home.

No, this is not actually your house.  But it is cute, hunh?  Home is the place – the place to relax, the place to store your joy, the place to reveal your pains, the place that should be where you feel most comfortable.  Home is where your heart is, whether you’re living in a 40-room monstrosity, a 2-room efficiency apartment, or a camper out in the woods (please don’t be a camper out in the woods – Gramma doesn’t camp well!).  As long as you are feeling comfortable, and you can totally be yourself, you’re at home.  I guess the place where I am at home, is whenever I’m with those people whom I love.  They make anyplace home for me.  Family’s good like that, whether they’re genetic family, or chosen.  We’ll all make many homes for you, Little Buddha.

H – is for Headstrong.  I’m sure you’re going to get a nice dose of this quality, Little Buddha.  Your Mama has it – up to her eyeballs!  I don’t know where she gets this from, because your Gramma is the most reasonable, logical, sweetest, easiest-to-get-along-with person! (Don’t listen to anyone who tells you otherwise – they don’t know!)  Being headstrong isn’t a bad thing, you know.  It means that you have a strong will, and you won’t let other people push you into things that you don’t want for yourself.  And once you make a decision, choose a path for yourself, being headstrong means that you won’t let yourself be dissuaded from it.  You can declare that you want to be the first Astronaut/President of the United States, and by gum – I believe you can do it!

H – is for Hello.  Weeee’reee waiiiitinnng!!!

  1. I hope you don’t quit this series when Little Buddha is born.

    I’m rather enjoying it. 😉

  2. Where did you get that photo of the adorable cottage? Is that in your backyard? 🙂

    • Oh man, I WISH! LOL, no, actually this was just a picture I found wandering randomly around the web. I would LOVE to have this in my backyard! 🙂
